Wren’s Roost Wedding Barn: Finger Lakes Wedding

There really is no venue quite like Wren’s Roost Wedding Barn. Nestled in the hills of Naples, NY, Wren’s Roost offers beautiful and truly breathtaking views everywhere you turn. If you are considering a Finger Lakes wedding, this space needs to be at the top of your list and here’s why.

The Loft for Getting Ready

The loft is such a warm and inviting space to put on your dress or suit. There’s plenty of natural light and I love the wooden accents. Some of my favorite moments up here include moms helping their daughters put on their dresses, reveals with the bridesmaids, and catching the quiet moments as you put on your finishing touches. There’s also a half bath up here so you can be tucked away from guests before your ceremony in comfort.

The Ceremony Space

I love how the ceremony space was built. The mountains in the background offer a million dollar view and the grounds are perfectly kept for everyone’s comfort. Now there isn’t a ton of shade (okay, there is no shade) so you won’t want to have an hour long ceremony in July, but there is usually a breeze keeping everyone happy as can be. As a photographer, I love how open the space is so I can easily move around to get different angles, capture guests reactions, and never miss a tear without taking away from your family and friend’s experience.

The Grounds

From the evergreen trees to the pond loop and the fields, Wren’s Roost offers a ton of variety and options for your portrait time. Groups are easily captured with no distracting power lines, building corners, or wandering guests. And for your couple portraits, well we could wander around for 45 minutes and still have more options. When you never know exactly what the weather or sun will do on your day, it’s helpful to have a space that offers beautiful backdrops from all angles and full shade corners as well.

and can we please have a moment for the fields at golden hour?

Seriously, do not skip this part of your day. Bring a second pair of shoes if needed because you are going to want to climb into the tall grass and play. I’ve never been disappointed by the sun’s work in this space.

Dinner under the Pavilion

Long wooden tables and protection on all sides when needed? yes and yes. Dinner buffets are easily enjoyed and guests have enough space to move and mingle.

Party in the Barn

and of course, the barn where you can dance the night away. On warm nights, the barn doors can stay open and you truly have the best indoor/outdoor reception space in Naples. Guests can also enjoy a fire pit (bring a smores kit) and outdoor seating from when they need to take a break. But we know that with the right DJ in the corner, no one is going to want to leave.
