This semester I was able to take an intro to digital photography class. Though the course is directed more towards students that want to learn how to use a DSLR, shoot in manual, and develop good composition, I was able to glean so much new information about my camera as well as what makes a “good picture” as relative as that can be. My final assignment was to put together a 10 photograph portfolio with a theme. The theme I chose was “A little bit country” and after a week and a half of taking about 1000 photographs…this was the result.
