Ever since I first walked Canandaigua City Pier and the boathouses, I knew I wanted to shoot there. Ally & Mike were the perfect couple for this night. While this was only their three year dating anniversary, they’ve been over 10 years in the making and already practiced getting married (I met them as our models at a Styled Shoot earlier this year).
I’m so thankful to have nights like these where I am enveloped into another couple’s love story, learn about what they love about each other, and create memories for them to look back on as they continue down their forever together.
You bring your family and I will bring the rest.
Come dressed to impress (your family that is) and I will provide the chalkboard, blanket, and hot chocolate to keep warm.

There’s so much value in a mother/daughter relationship and for these two, not even a few time zones could affect that value. Loree flew in to see her daughter and enjoy a weekend of girly things. Between their packed weekend of shopping in quaint towns, seeing a fantastic show at Count Basie, and seeing what Christie has been up to recently, we were able to catch up and have a awesome session in Red Bank, and God blessed us by stopping the rain just in time for the shoot to begin.
On Saturday I was able to enjoy photographing a couple more in love then ever. Claire and Gerard have become great friends and it was so wonderful celebrating their second anniversary as their 1st anniversary shoot didn’t seem all that long ago. They have made it through a lot (especially with their first home purchase being a few months ago!) and their love for each other can be an example to anyone! Cheers to 2 years Claire and Gerard!
At the end of June I had the opportunity to meet up with a wonderful family that just keeps growing. With a wedding, a 1st birthday, and an announcement of another on its way, this family had a lot to celebrate during this session
I met Amber and Jordan separately but around the same time at college. Amber and I shared in Honors Seminar for two years, Jordan and I shared many classes having the same major. Jordan proposed to Amber in Italy (major props on that one) while on a winterim trip with our school and I could not wait to celebrate with them when they returned. It took awhile but as the sun finally began to shine again I met the couple at Piermont Pier and we shared stories, looked forward to the wedding, and captured the love that these two truly have for one another.
Kerri was one of the first people I met when I came to Nyack College. Not long after I met Jordan through my department events. Who would have ever imagined 2 years later they would be engaged and three years later married! I was so blessed to be a part of their day and loved every minute of it. Congratulations Jordan and Kerri! May God bless your marriage and thank you again for letting me be a part of it.
Honestly what is better than getting to go out with two really goofy best friends? My brother claimed he needed pictures with his best friend and I hadn’t had a shoot in awhile so a few weeks back (before my wedding!) I grabbed the two and took them to the Ramapo Reservation in Mahwah, a site I had been wanting to check out for photography shoots in the future. It was a lot of fun. and seriously, these kids will crack you up.

While working on my photography final, I got to run around with an adorable 2 1/2 year old. I’ve known Annie Grace since she was born, as in I met her hours after she was born. It’s so much fun to watch her grow up. This was such a fun shoot for me to have the opportunity to do.
This was one of my favorite shoots during my photography project preparation because I finally got to take my gorgeous friend Danielle (who is also very talented and did my engagement pictures last year) out and about with her country style. She had so many options and was stoked to break out her white cowboy boots for her second outfit. It was a lot of fun and the park was perfect and only minutes away from where we both live.
